This is its second blooming. The flower is not huge, but overall, I like the shape and color.

As far as I know, Wharton still lives in the Minneapolis area. According to second and third hand information, the bank took over Castle Rock Orchids for whatever reason. For several years, the property passed from one set of hands to another with the plants suffering some, but persevering. The property was eventually purchased by Jim Bull, who gradually got the plants growing and in good shape. Unfortunately, a fire destroyed the entire Paph house a little over a year ago.
