Looks it an improvement from the former hybrid!

This plant has Mildred Hunter as the seed parent and is quite compact. I have an awarded plant, 'Columbia' AM/AOS, from the original cross, which lists Winston Churchill as the seed parent, and it is a much bigger plant. Unfortunately, I have yet to bloom it. The bud has blasted five times on me.:(

Ross, I have a clone of Uncas that came from the original cross by John Haynes I think and yes its regarded as a small flower as wa most that flowered in those early days.

I haven't bee able to compare flower size, but the plant size of the 3 plants that had Mildred Hunter as the seed producer were all smaller than the plant size of Paph Uncas 'Columbia'.
