My Paph. henryanum is still doing well. This is one I got from Bob Wellenstein a few years ago. The species is fairly rare in nature and was only discovered in 1987 along the Chinese-Vietnam border, growing as a lithophyte. The flowers on my plant are 3.25 inches (8.3cm) across. Its hard to see them all but there are six flowers.

super display, great flowers, plant and pict.!!!!
Ed, can you describe the progression of the plant during these few(?:)) years? Was it already a mature plant when you got it??
(mine is just a tiny thing compared to your beauty:eek::eek:). Jean

Jean, it was a select plant that had already bloomed for the previous owner. I believe it had three or four growths in the pot when I got it. Its been vigorous and now there are about twenty growths total.

Gosh, this plant is such a beauty and so well grown. Needless to say the photo is excellent too.

Best regards from Germany, rudolf
