I think easier to remove a plant like this from a wood basket, like this:

50 años tiene la planta? Lo tienes afuera con 40ºF??? Que sustrato tienes?

No, no 'años, 50 crecimientos (pero es posible la tiene 50 años; no se). Si, 40ºF en el otoño. Uso corteza pequeña y perlita para esta planta.

Disagree. In the first place I don't think I'd have gotten as many growths. I've also had issues with the wooden baskets, when kept wet, rotting out after only a few years (they're also quite prone to mold). In my experience, roots tend to stick to the wood which can cause loss of roots on repotting, and tear up the plant as well when you try to get it out. Here is a close-up of the basket on only one side. I doubt it would be an easy matter no matter what type of basket it is in lol

That's right. The plastic basket of that kind has much larger holes which makes removing the plant much easier and you can reuse the basket again for smaller division, too.
