Actually 'Yellow Valley' is a litteral translation of my middle name 'Guldal'...and I thought it an appropriate clonal name due to it sounding so chinese!
In truth, it's a misspelling of Gulddahl = Golden Valley - back in time the name of a farm house, located in a valley just some way outside of the danish provincial town, Vejle (on the east coast of Jutland). My paternal grandfather, who was the oldest, had his name most erroneously spelled, his middle brother got the double-d, the youngest the double-d aswell as the h in dahl as dal (valley) was spelled then. I wonder, whether the vicar of their parish got better at spelling in the due course of time?!
