In bloom last week, this is one of our best complex hybrids. This plant is a small single growth division, with the flower measuring only 8.5 cm in horizontal natural spread compared to the award bloom which had a HNS of 11.4 cm. I agonized whether to allow it to bloom. And in my haste to cut the flower to conserve plant energy, I forgot to take the photo first, so that is my paw in the photo holding the stem
