Two "brothers". They are almost identical, the only diference is a 12.5% of schlimii in the MMTF.
They are two of the nicest kovachii hybrids.

Soooo beautiful and I'll never be able to get my little
greedy hands on any of them...Oh woe! I love the colors...
vivid, but not bright orange/red. These are a wonderful
departure from so many red Phrags.

I've seen several of those type of hybrids. Yours are exceptionally nice ones. They look very well grown.

On one of them it looks like you have moss packed up around the plants base out of the pot. Could tell us more about your potting and medium for these?

Thanks for your coments!
I grow all my phrags in a open mix of coarse perlite + some spagnum moss. On top I usually put some sphagnum that helps to increase the RH a little bit. I water them every day if I can with very diluted fertilizer. For kovachii and hybrids I add some carbonate stones to the mix and from time to time I like to put some dolomite powder on top of the mix.
I change the potting mix every 12 months.
Hope it helps!
