Lycaste Leilani's Pink Dust

This is a pretty easy to grow Lycaste hybrid. It is a cross of Lycaste (Kurt Servos x brevispatha). I gave it a semi dry rest this winter by watering lightly every 7-10 days without fertilizer. Although I have not had this problem with this hybrid, Lycastes are prone to rot on new growth. So keeping water off of the new growth is very important.

I am still learning how to best grow Lycastes. So any advice is welcomed.

I wish lycastes were more easily available. I keep my eye out for them. Now I have to continue to learn how to grow them.
