Anyway, I hope you slipper people won't be offended upon finding out about my hidden passion: rupicolous Laelias. I've been growing a couple species for a few months, and this guy is the first to send out a growth and a single flower. The bud just popped open today, so I'll update as it opens.

Yep, in lava rock and a couple centimeters away from T12s.

About once every 3 or 4 days. The lava rock is very fast draining.

Very nice! You might want to sniff it after it's been open for a couple of days; mine had a bit of scent to it. I have a weakness for all these guys too--they're little jewels.
