Anyone ever used infra-red heaters for their plants?

I was satisfied to rely on our nice little propane heaters down here in our essentially enclosed porch, but decided to browse other options.

This is the strongest contender so far... http://digi-sun.com/DigisunInfraredHeaterProductFacts.aspx at $165 delivered.

BTW, I picked three tomatoes from the garden yesterday and more are coming. The plants languished all summer and sprung to life in mid-October. Crazy.

Looks interesting but how would it do in high humidity and with occasionnal splashing water? I doubt I could use one of them in the greenhouse.

5800 btu is inconsequential....maybe the 220V option would work better - that's what we have in our school 12'x24' greenhouse and it can maintain 70 degrees when it's 40 outside. The 120V, 1500W heater we had before could barely maintain 50 degrees when it was 40 outside.
