Mine in bloom.. :) Sorry I don't have a close-up pic.. :eek: My 'designated photographer' finds it difficult to photograph the upside down flowers...

It is a native Malaysian terrestrial species. Grown similar to Phaius, but needs a rather long rest when not growing. similar to Habenaria culture, I think. :)
 
I love this one. I had one for 5 years and it bloomed every year. However, last year I killed it. Must have overwatered!

Peter, I don't think that a bit of overwatering, even in its resting period, would do it much harm. I used to not know anything about its culture. I bought it as a bunch of old backbulbs quite cheaply and treated it as any other terrestrial. I even left it in the heavy rain during its resting period but it did not die. But I never know when it will decide to grow. So now I leave it unwatered until the new growth emerges... :) You should get another one.. :D
