esquiroleii album

The other day I realised that one of my esquiroleii albums was about to drop and that I did not have a photo of it. So I rushed and took some snapshots. The flower is more than one month old now and has become yellowish with spots etc, but the size is very good. As you can see NS comes close to 16cm (6.3inch). This one flowered last year as well and came to my posession as a flask in May 2011. So there are others but they have either not flowered or are smaller.
This one was taken April 15.

it certainly is, there is another of the same flask coming. That seems to be half-sized (actually a bit small but might expand)

Tell the truth Bjorn, you giving your orchids steroids, aren't
you??? All the blooms you post look sooo BIG. Most of
my Paph. flowers are just average in size and I'm envious
of your sizable flowers.

*Americans can't think in metric, you know. Well, people
with a scientific background can. Apparently, Eric and I
can't. I thought inches too.

Joke aside, the trick to get big flowered plants is to buy a flask, raise them and only show the biggest of that population
