This species is somewhat similar to D. cruentum. But D. suzukii has 5 keels on the lip and the lip with the undulated margin while D. cruentum has 3 keels and non-undulated lip. Both of these two species are rare in nature, and I briefly summarized the somewhat interesting history of this species (from Averyanov et al. 2016) in my Orchid Borealis blog post (link here).

I got this plant from Louisiana Orchid Connection, and this is the first bloom for me. The flowers were bigger than I expected, and the contrast of greenish petals and red/orange lip is striking.

While I was trying self-pollination, I took an additional photo of the lip. Semi-globulous (hafl-dome shaped) callus at the base of the iip can be seen here (toward the left side):
