Cym canaliculatum in nature

For those who grow Cym canaliculatum, here is a snap of a plant growing 50 feet off the ground in centre of a dead tree branch. This snap was taken on Magnetic Island, off Townsville Nth Queensland Australia.

Is it blooming? I can't see a spike.

Pretty cool on how its just at the end of the branch in full light.

Didn't see any flowers, wrong time of year but there were old spikes just visable with the binocs.

It grows so HIGH up... In M'sia, cym. finlaysonianum grows raher close to ground level. Even if it were up on a tree, we could still see the flowers without binoculars...

Dot, another interesting point is that if that branch and tree was hollow down to the ground, the roots of the Cym would be down nearly as far.
