Now getting to a decent size with plenty of flowers after 4 years growth.
Seems to like spending the summer outdoors under a tree with plenty of water.
Winter is indoors with less water but enough to cause the bulbs to shrivel.
There seems to be quite a bit of variation in plant and flower size between various clones.
This one is quite small but flowers well,

I think the trick with this species to to give it monsoon conditions. It sits in a bit of water most of the summer when growing. Cooler and drier in the winter but it is not too fussy,

Thanks, David. Mine just bloomed and that's about all mine lasted, also. I wondered if that was typical, or if I wasn't caring for them properly.
