Purchased from Hausermann’s last February after coming across a post in here of an absolutely stunning plant that was mounted to a large stone and clearly loved the culture; anyone who knows that photo will surely validate my wonderment. Have had mine a year now so I’ll take credit (and relief, that another Cattleya has survived my Cattleya-challenging conditions) for these little flowers. I intend to to transfer it to the stone method this spring. What a delightful, spritely little thing. There’s a slight scent that defies description. Medicine-y…faintest bit of citrus, but…somehow metallic-bitter? Anyone know this plant and how to describe that scent?
Now I’m eyeing that C. luteola “South River” that I see in here…this is how we feed the golem…
