Haven't been in town much lately, but this was a cool flower to see when I got back.

It's pretty tough to take vacations together, but we do have some friends nearby that are good with the pets and chids on those rare occasions.

It's a good size flower (and plant). With the dorsal recurved back one flower will just about stretch across the palm of your hand, and the plant size/habit is similar to carunculatum or orthoglossum.

The normal flower position is nodding (opening down), so you have to pick up the flowers to see the details.

It's a sequential bloomer and rare to have more than 2 flowers open at a time. But it is cool that the buds are forming so close together.
