An unexpected visit to a flower shop lead me to buy three complex hybrids this morning. There were about a dozen of mixed varieties and all were either highly worn out or malformed.
With the promise of a little discount, I bought three plants.

I was drawn to this earth-toned flower for some reason.
They are both "Ashburton River X Hellas", and reflect both parents.

I also liked small flowered but nicely shaped green one as well, but no tag.
Unfortunately, this green flower got cold damage and melted off when I got home. There is one more bud to open soon.

All three plants have two spikes and many many new fans all over the pot.
I am very excited about these apparently very vigorous plants and their beautiful future blooms. :)

I like the color on the first one.
The second one has a nice shape and it is pretty large.
I just don't like the V shaped green zone on the dorsal.

The last one is actually quite nice before this cold damage occurred.
It was a well shaped round flower resembling Mountain Meadow with dark midline running across the petals and the dorsal.
The flower was small and the leaves are rather too long, but it has the most fans, so I'm looking forward to some green bouquet next season. :)

From what I have seen you have a taste for some large plants!!

I know. I keep saying I don't have any more space, but these are all big ( big for my standard) plants.
I don't know what I was thinking. Apparently, not thinking enough. :D

I did pick up lots of little parvis and brachys today at the show. ;)
