Purchased from Ecuagenera in June of 2022. This was a big experiment for me, after seeing another member in a local society bring in a blooming plant a few years back it went on the list. I just had to have a tulip orchid. Was relatively easy to grow in my conditions, I kept it on the floor to the side of a table, so it received lower light but the leaf I grew over the year was very large. Once the buds started to emerge, the leaf started to senesce. It has a nice almost minty/ slightly anise fragrance. What’s interesting is the lip inside is hinged and swings open and closed when moved.
