The lip is the darkest rubra type lip I have ever seen.
NS 15 cm.
Was passed at judging today because it needed more flowers. The average was 4-5 flowers per inflorescence. Next year then!
A steel blue lip on this purpurata werkhauseri that contrasts nicely with the white tepals. Light fragrance.
Another of my plants at David’s. Still needs another year or two to show its potential.
I might name him ‘Steele Blue’ lol.
