    Sangii x barbatum

I assume Quintal made these? Got a bunch from them. This is the first to bloom out (in my display). A little wonky in a few parts, but the violet color I like

    Donna's Bird x hainanense

This is a cross I made. Haven't named it yet (someone might have snuck one in). I really like this particular one

    Kovachii flasking

Any good suggestions for flasking kovachii? I don't mind doing it myself, although it is certainly easier to send it out if I can be convinced it would be done well... If you have had success, care to share the medium that you used? I've tried a few phrags with marginal success. Plan is to...

    Phrag flasks

Maybe 10 flasks arrived from Chuck Acker today. Impeccably packed, as always. Still a good selection on his website

    Phrag. Jordan's Peach Tango

This picture comes close, but doesn't quite capture the glow. Just spectacular. Probably the best color I've ever seen in a phrag, and I've seen a lot of phrags.

    Paph wardii 'Littlefrog Go Green'

My contribution to the AOS for the MSU show this weekend. 84pt AM. I always call this alba, but I think it is properly the alboviride form. Some day I will look that up. A lot of this grex (and this one) bloom with two flowers per inflorescence. Orchid Inn breeding. I keep threatening to...

    Paph Saiun 'Littlefrog' AM/AOS

Doesn't feel like a show unless I contribute to the AOS a little bit. Small show (Ft Wayne, after several years of no shows here). My exhibit was also small. sukhakhulii x wardii Two of my favorite species. This one is definitely much more sukhakhulii influenced than most of the awards...

    Kovachii

Had a rough year or so with phrags (I think I had my fertilizer chemistry wrong). But in celebration of the solstice I have my nicest kovachii just opening. A good sign of the year to come.

    Tranlienianum and micranthum

I have hundreds of these... And only one of these right now

    Cactus seeds?

Anybody grow cactus from seed? I got inspired the other day and bought a bunch of little species. Seems like Internet is filled with scammers (no, really?). Does anyone have a reliable vendor for cactus seed?

    Paph spicerianum

Not mine... I had to get back to my sales table and I thought someone was going to pull it for judging, but I guess I should have done it myself. Substantially bigger than most I've seen and has the most incredible substance I've ever touched. Almost feels like it is carved out of marble. I...

    Paph Chiara 'Littlefrog' AM/AOS

Lawrencianum x sukhakulii. Remake of an older cross that is showing up everywhere. I was a little surprised by this award. Feel like I should cross it to something but I'm not sure what.

    Paph Larry Sexton 'Littlefrog' AM/AOS

Just awarded yesterday. Two flowers and a bud. Kind of like Woluwense but easier to bloom. Plant is quite compact and in a 3.5" pot.

    Pollen library

So, one of the things I got from Orchid Inn when he retired was his pollen library. Very comprehensive... It took most of a month, but I've sorted and inventoried all of it. Made the executive decision to throw out some of it (couldn't decipher the writing, or really old). Not sure how long...

    Charlesworthii fma sandowiae

This is a clone Orchid Inn bred with a lot, but it wasn't awarded until today. 'Perfection' AM/AOS

    Habeneria Sunrise Plumes

I grow a few things that don't have pouches... HCCAOS

    St. Swithin 'Littlefrog Prince'

Got this one awarded today. Hard to tell from my terrible picture, but it is huge. Probably should have waited until five or six flowers were open... Shows what a career's worth of world class line breeding (Sam Tsui's, not mine) gets you.

    Mini sanderianum?

So, I found a sanderianum when I was looking for something else. Literally wouldn't know it was in bloom otherwise. It is a three flowered sanderianum at about half scale. picture isn't very good. Not sure if it is a genetic dwarf or my culture is poor... :). It must be a strong grower...

    For Sale Sanderianum flasks, anyone?

Just got a new shipment in from the lab - supposedly only one more shipment coming, but I have pretty much filled my office with flasks now. Updated list Can't remember who was asking for sanderianum, but I have several flasks of that. A couple of micranthum v. eburneum flasks that I expect...

    For Sale More flasks!

And an updated plant list. The list here So, got a new box of 100 flasks. Mostly species (several brachy, hainanense, etc). New additions highlighted in green. In an attempt to move some of the way too many multiflorals I've made them substantially cheaper, check it out. One stonei flask...
