A hybrid of Trpla.fragrans and Trpla.sanguinolenta, this was a severe disappointment the first time it bloomed, in summer. It was a solid cream color with no spotting at all. I had hoped that some of the spotting of the sanguinolenta parent would have come through. I was very pleasantly surprised when it rebloomed in the winter as seen in this pic, now blooming again. The color is apparently temperature sensitive and it has repeated that behavior, being pale when warm and colorful when grown cooler.
