Yep, it's time for another weekly installment of "watch Zach blatantly trespass in order to photograph orchids."

The weather has been obscenely hot in these parts, so the blooms are getting brown and dried out a bit. Sorry! Maybe I can get better shots next year.

The blooms on these things are absolutely tiny. I would guess they are each about 3-4mm across.

My favorite Spiranthes is still lacera var. gracilis, but these have a nice pure, stark-white quality to them.

I'm a big fan of the concept of Allemansrätten for just this reason. It's lovely, as are all of the orchids you find, and should be seen and appreciated by all.
