I admire the ruffle petals as well. I have a longifolium and
a sedenii that just keeps on blooming and blooming. I've
lost count of how many sedenii blooms have come and
gone...at least ten anyway. It's a good brancher too.
 
Thanks all. No, Rick this clone has never branched. It must have more pearcei in it then yours.

Very nice and the proportions are perfect. You could have flowers for a year with that second spike. Do you ever worry about the longer term impact of so much energy needed for that many flowers?
 
Yes Troy flowers can be larger as well. My richteri leaf span is 2.5 times bigger then my pearcei. When I first got this plant in the 90's the tag said "pearcei var. giganteaum. (pre-richteri recognition)
