Paph glaucophyllum

This is my 1st cochlo, that grew and then bloomed in my gh ! I got the 1 growth plant in april 08 from G. Schmidt! Here some pics of its development! Jean

It's beautiful! However, I think it's moquetteanum, a.k.a. glaucophyllum variety moquetteanum.

wow.. nice one I agree with John, I go for moquetteanum too...

Glaucophylum has distinct stripes as opposed to the random spots and rows of spots for moquetteanum. There is quite a bit of debate (just as for curtsii and superbiens) as to whether this is a distinct species or variety of glauc. Just like the curtsii debate, moquetteanum has a different chromosome count from glaucophyllum.

I think the form of this one is very nice Jean, the petals are quite wide:clap::clap:
