Jah! I think so, but I mostly grow parvi paphs.

Hi,
the staminode is different than another one. How do you think?

I'm looking at a couple of pages from Averyanov's book on Vietnamese slippers. On page 222 there is a diagram showing 16 variations in staminode shape for appletonium in Vietnam, and yours is within the normal variation for staminode shape. On page 227 there is 7 photos of flowers, and I can see a staminode on one that is just like yours. In fact the whole flower looks very much like yours. It says it comes from Ninh Thuan province (South Vietnam).
