This past weekend, I took the pollen sac of Norito Hasegawa that I had saved in the fridge and attempted to put it on Mystic Isle.
It is strange how not sticky the staminode of Mystic Isle (and my other brachy) nor the pollen of NH.
It didn't work and I lost the pollen after accidently dropping it on the carpet. lol
Then I put other parvi hybrid's pollen on it. Hopefully it will work.
I cross-pollinated it. The brachy pollen was quite sticky and so was the parvi's stami. Yay!!!
Then, I had one pollen of Mystic Isle left, and used it to pollinate my green/yellow bulldog, Green Gene.
The tiny little pollen sac is now sitting on huge white stami of the bull dog.
I really hope this one works, although I realize that the results might be terrible.
Wish me luck and let's see what happens down the road.
Years from now on, I guess.
Cheers!
