In time the Meiracyllium make wonderful specimen plants. I regret that some 10 years ago, during one of my misguided purges, trying to downsize the collection and get rid of all non-slipper orchids in my collection, I got rid of my Meiracyllium Tri-Gem (wendlandii x trinustum) It was a frequent bloomer, a vigorous grower and had a strong cinnamon fragrance. Delightful. You have a great little species there.
By the way, I have since embraced the fact that it is okay to collect orchids that are not slipper orchids, even plants that are not orchids at all. Now I am just trying to figure out where to build the greenhouse.
