Masdevallia infracta isn’t a showstopper, but what it lacks in visual punch, it makes up for in its fantastic grape pop scent (this clone anyway), sequential-blooming habit and ease of culture in a warm environment. This is the ‘Long Legs’ clone I got from Windsong a couple of winters ago—there’s a lot of color variation in this species.

very nice coloring! Have to agree on the warm (and abuse) tolerance, though I still managed to kill one :( It was the final straw - I now know that I just cannot grow masdies in pots. I've been mounting them ever since and so far so good.

Nice blooming. I bought a Masd infracta from Main Street orchids at our Spring Show that is about to open. This is my first Masdie, only have 2 others, impostor and floribunda that I bought through Hoosier Orchids(1/2 price sale this month until the end of May).
