Hi!

These are a couple of pics of my Degarmoara Auburn Sunset. I originally purchased this plant as a tiny seedling in a one-inch pot at the San Francisco Orchid Exposition many years ago. It has proven to be an easy grower for me. I've divided this plant more times that I can count. The parentage of this plant is Odontonia Glass Creek x Miltassia Charles M. Fitch. Certainly, considering the parentage, this one didn't get the fabulous spotting that it could have, but I like it all the same. Some bloomings have the purple a little darker than shown here. I have two spikes inflower and two more on their way.

The flowers have a natural spread of four inches or so. I see that the slugs have been munching a bit on the flower. Time to put out more slug bait.

Best Regards,
Nik
