Another spicerianum

Hope you'all are not sick and tired of spicerianums yet. This flower is one I produced from seed poke:oke: yes TAdd), and is the second year in a row for it to bloom. One of the parents had a nice pink flush to the dorsal sepal and red stems and ovary. This carried through to this flower. Ed M picked up a few of these from me, and they are blooming for the first time for him with this nice pink flush.

Pod maturity and seed collection 10/04
Seedlings deflasked 10/05
First blooming 10/07

Ed M's are blooming for the first time this year. So the short answer is 3-4 years (at least for me and Ed).
