Air layering a Phrag.

Some months ago I received a Phrag. that was in rough shape and decided
to try air layering a growth that was very leggy. Today I noticed that
there are roots showing through the sphag. and what appears to be a
very small new growth peeking out of the sphag. ball. Any advice on
how long I should wait to detach and pot up? I didn't think it would work,
so I hadn't really considered what to do and when to do it! :rollhappy:

If it has a couple of roots and they are a couple of inches long you can cut it off and pot it. Good luck.

Eric, it's the peach one...maybe Peach Cobbler x Colossal Peach. You have
this one, don't you? How's it doing? The two bessae Balance x Curvy
are putting out new growth, but still look a tad rough.

Probably do have one. They are doing fine. we spray twice a day. If I see roots I will treat them accordingly.
