5x Restrepia, 1x Dracula, 1x Laelia

Had the oppurtunity today to take some shots of some very nice species. Unfortunately no DSLR or black cloth close by so had to make the shots with my compact.

Restrepia sanguinea

Restrepia chameleon, this one really stood out, I really like the light and bright coloured lip.

Restrepia gutulata

Restrepia lansbergii

Restrepia sp., really cool and small restrepia. Flower size is a bit more then 1cm. It was covered with water so not a lot of details to see and not enough light to do a macro shot.

Dracula simia

Laelia gouldiana

I can only take credit for the photo's. The collection which these plants belong to isn't mine. Was a nice visit though, just like the rabit I ate there. :rollhappy:

R. sanguinea is such a pretty color. The others are cool too but that one caught my eye.

Great pics of some very hard to photograph flowers. I'm doing pretty well with Restrepia species and your lovely photos have inspired me to get more!
