    Paphiopedilum helenae

You see helenaes both with and without a white rim on the dorsal. I think, it's a stable genetic trait, not dependable on extraneous factors!

Cattleya labiata ('Sherwood Forest' AM/AOS × 'Libra')

Lovely, indeed...difficult to add anything meaningful as the two esteemed, and so much more knowledgeable, gentlemen above have put the praise so succinct! 🙂
  6. Guldal

    Paphiopedilum victoria-reginae

    Great colours! 🥰

Cattleya Arthos (Dinard 'Blue Heaven' x trianae (coerulea) '#6')

Very nice, Terry! Patience well rewarded! 🙂
  8. Guldal

    Paphiopedilum insigne

You are right, Darlene...I would also name it a typical form... Yet again, kudos for culture!

    How can i get anitum?

Yes, Popow is, indeed, a good idea, but since the death of Boscha (Popow, Sr.), I haven't been able to find a version of their internet site with a shopping option. I've bought a bit from them on Ebay and at shows, though

I'm so excited about this beauty that bloomed in my orchid hot house.

Congrats! I'm not wildly into complex hybrids - but yours is certainly a very nice and shapely one! Kind regards, Jens

    Aberrant flower victoria reginae

If the trait is stable and you need a clonal name, may I propose: 'Pirate' (either a pirate's bandana or more likely his patch!)

    Cattleya trianae Cashen’s’ FCC/AOS

Both extremely gorgeous belles, Belle! 🥰
  17. Guldal

Cattleya rex (Flamea) ‘Andean Treasure’ FCC/AOS

Somehow shapely challenged...and is that botrytis or something like it on one of the tepals in the secondlast photo?!
  18. Guldal

This is more like we know it! 😉

    Cattleya Treasure Find!

Darlene, I think it is with Leslie as with a certain guy on the upper floor: his ways are unfathomable! 😉
