When I acquired this plant from Carter and Holmes about 15 years ago it was called Lc Gaskell-Pumila and it was registered by Colman in 1918. It turns out that this hybrid was registered as Wolterii already in 1908. Regardless, it is one of the bluest Cattleyas I've ever seen.

Grown under lights in my basement during the cold months and outdoors from mid May till end of September. I acquired this plant as a seedling from Martin Motes in 2016. If I had known how fast it was going to grow I would have mounted on a bigger piece of cork. I guess I have to figure out how...
