This is at Ecuagenera in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The plant appears to be quite vigorous.

Hi Duane,

Our clone also originated with Ecuagenera and may well be a division of this plant since I believe there's only one clone. I believe it will open up a whole new avenue of approach in breeding for yellow/green Phrag. hybrids. Neither our adult plant nor the selfings, once they reach a 4-5 inch leaf span, are difficult to grow, but are extremely difficult to grow out of flask. Kyle has also seen this plant at Ecuagenera.

Thanks,

The adult plants do not seem to be difficult to grow. Although, from my observations, they do like to grow drier then a normal longifolium. Have you noticed this, Tom?

Nice to see its been moved to Guayquil. Gualaceo was a bit cool, perhaps.

Kyle
