Paphiopedilum vietnamense

Blooming for the first time. Last year the bud blasted after I watered the plant (the bud just turned brown over night). This year I kept the plant dryer and it bloomed. I like the pale color of this flower, but I will have to look for a darker clone too.

Congratulations on blooming this species. Its not often everyone can keep it alive let along bring it to bloom. Let us know how long the bloom last.

That's a pretty light color. It would be nice crossed with delenatii album!
