The largest flowered N.American cyp, this was first noted in 1939 barely 100 miles south from my home city of Columbus (though not formally described until decades later) in Kentucky (of course), but apparently is not found north of the Ohio river. Grown outside as all my cyps in a pot in cyp mix sunk into a raised bed.
