I received this in trade last fall. It is a Central to South American species. It wasn't in the best shape when I received it last fall but I have been babying it and it has responded with a spike. The flowers are held just above the P-bulbs.

Very pretty, What is the size of the flowers?
The flower is about an inch tall maybe a bit less.

I wouldn't dare show a full plant shot. It is a mess. Hopefully, now that I am getting new growth, I can keep it healthy looking. Dot, I will gladly baby the odd species. They are worth the effort.

Very nice - I use to grow a couple of them too but never learned how to keep them alive.
