what is this (on a neo)

well i think i have insomnia...i cant sleep...so i went snooping around the neo section in my super tiny grow area and found this on my benisuzume

I can't tell if its a spike or not. It's smack in the middle of the 3 biggest growths

Any ideas?

Looks like another growth to me.

A spike usually has a round crown of buds pushing up. And it doesn't look quite so leaf-like.

Cool. Thanks guys. Just hopeful thinking here cause the bottom end near the base looked like the beginnings of a stem.
