I just have started to make my own seed pods and am beginning to prepare ripe seed for mother flasks. I get the impression that paph seeds do not wet as easily as phal seeds, and am wondering what others use to be certain that the seeds are soaked thoroughly in a clorox solution and then washed in distilled water for flasking. The first couple of flasks that I tried of paph seeds had the seeds completely on top of the media where they don't look like they have as good contact with the media as the phal seeds did. The phal seeds germinated but I haven't noticed any germination of the paph seeds.
