Watering w/ DeHumidifier Water?

Speaking of Physan, is that safe for humidifier use? I know the stuff has strong warnings about contact with bare skin and eyes. I would think that adding it to water vapor wouldn't be very healthy since that can come in contact with your lungs and eyes. Any thoughts?

I know a few growers that use it periodically as an anti fouling agent in the sumps of humidifier water, and some even do a monthly misting in their GH's with it.

But I wouldn't use it either on a frequent basis for reasons you bring up.

i use greenshield, even put it in the evaporative cooling pad reservoirs as it's labeled for such uses.
perhaps hydrogen peroxide?

When I scrub my plastic eggcrate w/ Physan to get rid of algae the fumes and vapor make me choke; more fun than the clorox and ammonia mix!
