this was bought as MDC x Jason Fischer from Regina Elsner as an imported seedling from the USA but I have my doubts.
There looks to be a dose of schlimii in there somewhere, it maybe close to Cape Sunset.
The plant is very vigorous and looks to have plenty of longifolium in there. There must also be some besseae.

The main issue is that the flowers are both a bit cupped. Not sure whether this is just temporary or not.

Any ideas on the parentage?

I suspect you are correct and that it's not properly labeled. I don't have any additional insights on ID or parentage, but the foliage is very similar to a typical Phrag. Eric Young, so I would lean towards the P. longifolium parentage as well as besseae. I suppose I see some P. schlimii influence in it, too.
