Two delenatii

delenatii normal form and alba. I got the pink one from Eggshells last fall. It has a lovely rose scent. The alba I’ve had for about 4 years. I got it as a seedling from John M. No scent as of yet. I can’t believe the size difference between them. Is this normal? These are the first delenatii I’ve ever bloomed so have no previous comparisons.

I like the form of the alba but I've never had one so I can't comment on the size difference. I am surprised at how big a difference there is.

There can be a size difference and you may have two extreme examples at the moment. The old line breeding made large flowers with zero color but with the introduction of more deles of std and vini the size came down with color. Line breeding albums has increase flower size.

Albas are normally smaller. But my alba has wider/bigger leaves than my vini. The alba is spiking but the vini is lazy.
