On my first visit, I was under some time constraints, besides being in AWE, so I didn't write down what I was taking pics of. What an excuse to go back!
Chuck has made alot of new crosses wanting to put color on to the long petaled type phrags. Basically he didn't miss! I was actually a few days early, as most were starting to unfurl but one could easily see the long petals & the color!
Twilight x caudatum

Waunakee Wonder (Barb. x BelleHoughePoint)

to be continued...... imageshack is very slow & having issues!

Some of the blooms will be a bit fuzzy, they have good air circulation there!
Sunset Glow 4N

Magdalene Rose 'Mother' 4N

Twilight x China Dragon starting to uncurl

the next 2 are Demetria x Twilight

Keep in mind on these new crosses this is first time bloom!

See these pics RON!

This gives you an idea what Chuck has gone with long petaled pinks.

He has done a nice job with breeding the pinks. I hope to do similar with yellows.

I am also curious to see how kovachii will influence the long petaled species.

There are a lot of us waiting. I hope it will not be too long. We are all anxious.
