The last of this season and the first of its flask

Vietnamense, came late this season, the first one two years after deflasking. A little crippled and size perhaps moderate but looks promising.

Is this the second or third flask since you posted flowering vietnamense flowering out of flask in 2 years in the past??

Your greenhouse must be so nice to be in!

I have had 3 flasks over the last years. Two flasks first time and then, later another one from Germany. The first were from HS. only a few blooms each year. Guess perhaps 10 out of 40-50? Takes two-three years out of flask, that is right.

Nicely done. I look forward to seeing it flower again. I'm the master at killing Paph seedlings, though the time frame is a more like 3 to 4 years :rollhappy:

I'd keep this plant for the foliage. It's really fiiiine looking
leaves. I do hope the poor, sad flower improves.
