So away from the talk of rot and my clear deficiencies in culture, here are two cattleya labiata clones.
First is a semi alba seedling from the cross ‘cooksoniae x Antonio Paccione’. There are a few photos online of this cross and they all look quite similar. Interestingly this one has colour bleeding round and up the sides of the lip.

you can see I’ve been good and repotted this one this summer as the new roots were showing.
Next up is a clone not showing what it should. It is cattleya labiata fma. flammea ‘HR6’.
Not much sign of any flammea marking but then this is its first year with me and the plant is not yet mature.

That's not colour bleeding. The painters forgot to wait until the paint was dry before rolling up the canvas. Nice effect ------ extra features are nice.

Both are very very nice flowers.
