I have several paphs in bud at the moment. Today I took a bunch of pictures of the buds...many can be quite lovely with all their hairs.

Here are some of them:

They are so very graceful aren't they?
I moved all my plants today and just yesterday my Berenice buds left the sheath and began to "swan out" and I was so nervous I would break the spike but all my spiking plants made it safe and sound. I also discovered my St. Swithin (from Littlefrog Rob) is in sheath.

Thanks for your photos, they are quite lovely.

Nice photography!

Does anyone take care of their plant differently when it begins to flower (sheath appears)? Do you change watering and/or fertilizing methods?

Thanks!
