Awhile ago I posted about my orchids that had been neglected during my month long hospitalization and several people suggested soaking them for a long period in kelp fertilizer. So I made a bath and threw in some Quantum Orchid and Dyna-Gro KLN. I am happy to say that I was able to save a lot of them and now have new roots coming even on the Oncidiums and Dendrobiums. I repotted a bunch today, including slippers. I’m really grateful for your help and that I didn’t have to throw out most of the plants. I did lose a few, but just treated myself and ordered new slippers from Hillview Gardens and some compact cattleya and Australian dendrobiums from Sunset Valley
and some random genera from J & L Orchids and New World Orchids. So I am back to growing orchids! Having a stroke sucks, but I’m not going to let it get in my way.
