Shame about that tooth on the pouch, but I suspect it's just a fluke. This one has the widest petals so far at 2.1cm

Beautiful shape and very full petals. If its first bloom, it will be perfect next round sans horn. Double bud too! A keeper.

Indeed that's a beautiful flower if there wasn't the tooth/horn. In the last few day I saw some flowers here with these teeth/horns. Can't remember that I saw that in the years before, or am I wrong?

The “horn” is just a chance anomaly and not a genetic thing. This is Sorcerers Love in 2015... first blooming. Notice there’s a horn on one flower but not the other. The second photo is 2018... no horn.
