Indeed that's a beautiful flower if there wasn't the tooth/horn. In the last few day I saw some flowers here with these teeth/horns. Can't remember that I saw that in the years before, or am I wrong?
 
The “horn” is just a chance anomaly and not a genetic thing. This is Sorcerers Love in 2015... first blooming. Notice there’s a horn on one flower but not the other. The second photo is 2018... no horn.
